This is a reading course on conformal mappings. The first issue is the proof of the Riemann mapping theorem. Then the subject of univalent functions is introduced and we prove the initial case of the Bieberbach conjecture as well as the Koebe distortion theorem. Students should seek instructor's approval to take this course.
