This course is offered under the program of the HKUST Summer Institute for Secondary School Students by the School of Science. Starting with fundamental chemistry concepts, this course intends to inspire students to appreciate how chemistry benefits our society. This course has both lecture and laboratory components covering topics of applications of chemistry to environmental and materials science and medicine.
