The course "Design Clinic" provides diagnosis as well as treatment to conceptual solutions in their mid-way towards realization. Idea realization process is never an easy task. Adding a design perspective aids to enhance well-intentioned concepts towards more creative, aesthetic and socially inclusive solutions in order to achieve society well-being. In the course, students bring in their 'unwell" concepts for appropriate treatment to prevent undesirable development and enhance the present concepts for "healthy" outcomes. The course is structured in a tutorial format – group and individual tutorials – to enable both apprenticeship and peer learning. Students joining the course should have already a developing concept but are encountering some obstacles in the development that prevent them from achieving the objectives. Interested students have to submit an abstract for selection comprising four key points: objectives of their projects, the present concepts, the problems encountering and last, project timeline. Images are encouraged if they aid explanation of the concepts. Enrollment may require approval of the course instructor.
