Ranking occurs in diverse areas. Examples include QS ranking of universities, competitive sports such as horse racing. There are various statistical approaches to handle this type of problems. In this course, we will introduce methods for solving ranking problems and apply them to some real data. The student should seek the course instructor's approval to take this course.
