Description

This course covers emerging topics of big data analytics in cancer research. It addresses topics including mutations and resistance in cancer immunotherapy, integration of omics data in cancer research, statistical methods in differential gene expression, and advanced visualization of gene expression & network. A thorough introduction to popular biomedical big data technologies, such as bulk RNA-Seq, single-cell RNA-Seq, Ribo-Seq and LC-MS/MS will be covered in the lectures. This course also discusses cutting-edge research findings in immunology and principles & applications of modern cancer therapeutic approaches. Lastly, this course will focus on current practice of precision medicine and future developments.
