This course is an independent study of the first Six Chapters of Freud and Gyarmati’s Classical Textbook on Number Theory that focus on elementary aspects of number theory such as congruences, quadratic reciprocity, arithmetic functions, Diophantine equations, etc. Students should seek the course instructor's approval to take this course.
