This course is offered under the program of the HKUST Summer Institute for Secondary School Students by the School of Business and Management. This course helps students develop better analytical and decision making skills in approaching practical and important daily life issues, without the use of any advanced knowledge in mathematics and statistics. Students will derive solutions or conclusions that require critical thinking, creativity, quantitative analysis, and common sense. In this short course, students will also learn to apply different decision analysis concepts and tools in a selected set of interesting problems with greater confidence.
