The special topic course is a 1-credit course that introduces the basic knowledge on an embedded system and how to do basic programming of an embedded system. The course is mainly for students that has no background and experience in embedded systems and embedded processing. It includes basic topics like the organization of embedded system and embedded processor and practical lab on how to program a simple embedded processor, such as Arduino. The students will acquire the knowledge through lectures and practical hands-on labs and projects. Instructor’s approval is required.
