The course introduces the basic concepts and principles in global supply chain management, provides insights into issues involved in the design and planning of a supply chain, and equips students with fundamental skills for analyzing and managing supply chains. The topics to be covered in the course include supply chain uncertainty and risk management, information distortion, supply chain coordination and integration, logistics networks and outsourcing strategy.
