This seminar summarizes a new scholarship on China derived from empirical analyses of Chinese inequality over the last three centuries, broadly defined, using a variety of big archival Chinese historical datasets, and organize this knowledge in a framework that encourages learning about China and inequality in China in comparative perspective.
