An individual one-year research project under the close supervision of a faculty member of the department. The individual student will conduct research on a specified topic related to mechanical engineering. Normally, a project proposal and a final report are required. For students of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering only. Instructor's approval is required for enrollment in the course. May be graded PP.
