Description

This course examines major patterns and processes in coastal, benthic, and upper ocean pelagic ecosystems. We will explore mechanisms that control abundances and distribution of organisms, from plankton to fishes, including a brief survey of ecosystem models. This course will also cover human-impacts on the ocean and highlight interdisciplinary management tools.
