Instructor(s)/Supervisor(s)/Coordinator(s): Siya LIThe course will describe the origins and early development of classical Chinese poetry, e.g, Shijing, Chuci, folk songs, and major poets of the Han Dynasties. The meaning of these poetry will be examined. The distinguishing aesthetic feature will be discussed.
