As a powerful tool for solving partial differential equations computationally, the discontinuous Galerkin finite element methods have become broadly used to simulate challenging problems in science and engineering during the last decade. This course aims to offer the students an overview of the mathematics and implementation of the methods and their applications in various disciplines.
