Description

This course covers value investing from a practitioner’s perspective and is oriented around the value investing framework and process culminating in an interactive presentation to an Investment Committee. Participants will learn key concepts and tools used in value investing, how to analyze and determine what makes a good business, and how to assess intrinsic value. This course also demonstrates how ESG factors are incorporated into the systematic analysis of a company’s risks and opportunities to enhance decision making. There will be sessions giving participants hands-on experience of financial modelling, valuation and preparing an investment memo so that participants can have first-hand experience of the skills needed in finance and investing including private equity, public markets or within an organization to analyse investments.
