Teaming in a virtual environment has never been so widespread. The Covid-19 pandemic was a major catalyst for organizations of all kinds to switch to, invest in and accept virtual team collaboration. What new skills do members of virtual teams need to master to achieve effective collaboration and high performance? How has operating remotely and through video impacted group dynamics and interpersonal behavior? Whether the students are leaders or members of a team, in this course they will deepen their understanding of teaming and master the latest skills needed to take virtual teams to high performance. The students will also have opportunities to engage in virtual teaming, both collaboratively and competitively, with their fellow class participants and in a new simulation in which teams compete on a voyage in outer space. Graded P or F.
