This course is designed as a seminar discussion that provides an overview of some of the most contemporary research topics in strategic management. We will survey a select set of strategy topics including ESG and sustainability, global strategy, corporate governance, innovation models, digital economy, mergers and acquisitions, and global value chains. Through in-depth and in-class discussion of some of the cutting edge research in the field of strategic management, we focus on developing ideas for a research proposal in terms of theory development and research design.
