Description

The course teaches the concepts, issues, theories, policies, and analytical methods in arms control and security studies from the perspective of international relations. It explains the debates on arms control and helps the students learn to analyze international issues related to arms control and develop their strategic thinking. The class will review several key technologies such as A.I., nuclear technologies, space technologies, cyber technologies and how states enact arms control policy to manage and control the risks around these technologies and reduce the risks of conflicts between them.
