The scope of this course is intended to establish the conservation laws of heat and mass transfer, with the aims to provide the required knowledge for industrial applications. The topics in a sequential sense covers: Concepts of continuum in multiscale thermal and mass flow systems; Definitions of thermodynamics properties; Conservation equations of fluid flow and heat and mass transfer; Dimensional analyses; Heat conduction and mass diffusion; Convective heat and mass transfer; Computational heat and mass transfer; Special topics and industrial applications.
