Conflict is an unavoidable human phenomenon. Wherever people interact, arising from different preferences and perspectives. Effective communication and negotiation skills are essential to navigate challenges and unlock positive outcomes. This course aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills and mindset to navigate, manage and resolve conflicts for themselves and others. Students will be introduced to concepts like active listening, the Behavioral Change Stairway Model and key strategies for managing challenging people and building collaboration. Through this course, students will undertake a journey of self-discovery, exploring their strengths and limitations in understanding themselves and others. Adopting a person-centered approach, the curriculum will focus on enhancing each student's innate motivation to change, turning moments of difficulty into opportunities for growth, understanding and positive transformation.
