This course provides a complete introduction to the subject of dispute resolution in construction and engineering including: the legal background to and foundation for contractual claims and disputes; standard forms and conditions of contract; the various modes of alternative dispute resolution (ADR); the nature of, practice and hearings before ADR tribunals; and the role of engineers serving as expert witnesses and adjudicators.
