This course is designed to provide academic advising to new students in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, to enhance their sense of identity and belonging, to familiarize them with their major disciplines, to encourage them to pursue co-curricular learning opportunities, and to improve their communication skills. Activities include meetings with faculty advisors, senior students and alumni, seminars and workshops, and various community building activities. Graded P or F.
