Electrochemical energy conversion and storage technologies such as fuel cells, batteries, electrolyzers, supercapacitors, solar cells, CO2 reduction, etc. help overcome the energy and environmental problems that have become prevalent in our society. This course will deliver the electrochemistry fundamentals first and then focus on the principles, critical materials, limitations, current status and development trend for each technology.
