This postgraduate-level course offers a comprehensive examination of the scientific and societal impacts of climate change at both global and local scales. Through interdisciplinary perspectives, students will explore the physical processes that drive climate change and extreme weather events, as well as impacts on ecosystems, socioeconomics, business and industry, public health, and geopolitics. Additionally, students will assess adaptation and mitigation strategies. The course integrates scientific principles with real-world examples to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address climate change and sustainability challenges.
