The course provides an understanding of executing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, with a specific focus on Asia and China. An in-depth exploration of M&A processes will help students to develop a working knowledge of how to execute an M&A deal - from identifying and analyzing target companies to conducting due diligence, securing financing, and closing the transaction. It will also cover constructing financial models and performing analyses throughout.
