Description

The course introduces tools and methods of the Digital Humanities as they can be used in literary, historical, art historical, linguistic, and cultural studies. Students will learn how to apply data analysis, text mining, visualization tools and StoryMaps to explore a variety of research questions pertinent to the use, sharing and presentation of cultural and historical data. Special attention will be given to the application of such tools and methods to China-related subject areas.
