This course explores the fundamentals of cryptocurrency security and the risks associated with digital assets. Through real-world case studies, guest speakers, and hands-on discussions, students will examine how crypto systems can be attacked and how to defend them. Topics include wallet security, platform vulnerabilities, attacker profiles, MEV, and incident response. Students will develop a practical understanding of threat models and build critical thinking around security strategy in the Web3 space.
