Instructor(s)/Supervisor(s)/Coordinator(s): Min ZHANGThe course provides students with a broad grounding on the nature and structure of language by introducing them to linguistic analysis, with emphasis on that of Chinese. Topics to be discussed include the subfields of linguistics such as phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics.
