Description
Instructor(s)/Supervisor(s)/Coordinator(s): Yik Chuen SANBasics of the Linux operating system and shell scripting; basic ideas of version control using Git and GitHub; basics about CPU, GPU and their applications in high performance computing; introduction of the parallel program design, implementation and applications in physics and other areas; introduction of libraries useful in high performance computing; introduction to quantum computing and basic quantum algorithms. Python will be the main programming language used in this course.
