ABEYNAYAKEThis project aims to design and implement user-centered solutions for global health challenges in collaboration with local medical and community teams. These teams focus on sustainable and affordable technologies tailored to address specific local healthcare needs. Students will work on developing a functional design solution as part of this initiative. Their work will be evaluated by faculty members, and each student is required to submit a final design including personal reflections on the project experience. The finalized design solutions will be showcased at the SIGHT Final Roadshow at the end of the semester at HKUST, followed by onsite implementation at the project partner’s location in early summer. Enrollment in the project course may require instructor's approval.
