This course will examine how governments, organisations, and communities develop, implement, and evaluate policies that promote health and wellbeing. The course emphasizes interdisciplinary learning by connecting public policy concepts with societal health challenges that affect daily life, from pandemic responses to mental health initiatives. Through case studies, debates, group discussions, and practical exercises, students will develop critical thinking skills to analyse complex policy problems, assess evidence-based solutions, and appreciate the ethical dimensions of public policy. This course's mission is to provide well-rounded knowledge and skills that nurture responsible, ethical, and compassionate professionals capable of contributing meaningfully to society.
