This course explores the multifaceted aspects of decarbonization, focusing on the landscape of decarbonization, the carbon market, the technological innovations driving change, and the evolving business models that support sustainable practices. Special emphasis will be given to blockchain technology and Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) as pivotal technologies in the decarbonization journey. Students will engage with case studies, hands-on activities, and industry insights to understand the challenges and opportunities in transitioning to a low-carbon economy.
