Statistical techniques are widely used across disciplines. Students in this course will gain a basic understanding of descriptive and inferential techniques. Afterwards, students will select 3-5 techniques from each of the descriptive and inferential categories and perform an analysis using R on a given dataset. Students are expected to enhance their ability to transfer mathematical and statistical skills across disciplines. Students should seek the course instructor's approval to take this course.
