Instructor(s)/Supervisor(s)/Coordinator(s): Kit William CHANThis course examines Hong Kong’s dual-track aviation development - Business Aviation (BA) and Low-Cost Carriers (LCCs) - within the Greater Bay Area (GBA) framework. It analyzes critical bottlenecks (e.g., BA: airspace/FBO limits; LCCs: high costs/HSR competition) and designs synergistic solutions leveraging GBA resources. Students will decode policies, diagnose constraints, and propose integrated strategies (e.g., eVTOL integration, cross-border terminals, hybrid models) to enhance HK’s aviation ecosystem. Focus: Policy economics, operational innovation, and strategic planning for BA/LCC co-development.
