It consists of (1) basic concept and theoretical principles; (2) design and fabrication of elastocaloric materials; (3) design and fabrication of elastocaloric refrigeration structures; (4) design and fabrication of elastocaloric devices; (5) system-level refrigeration performance characterization and analysis.
