Longitudinal Links to Construct the Korean Multi-Generational Panel Dataset – Tansung (KMGPD-TS) from the Tansung Household Registers

The longitudinal and interpersonal links provided here transform the cross-sectional Tansung Household Registers (THR) data to a multi-generational panel dataset which we refer to as Korean Multi-Generational Panel Dataset-Tansung (KMGPD-TS). This linkage work was carried out and made available by Cameron Campbell, James Z. Lee, Hao Dong and other members of the Lee-Campbell Research Group at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). The resulted KMGPD-TS includes 275040 linked triennial observations of 136690 unique individuals living in Tansung county located in southeast Chosun Korea between 1678 and 1888.
