The CCF Award for Overseas Outstanding Contribution is a prestigious honor established by the China Computer Federation (CCF) in 2005. It is presented annually to overseas individuals or organizations (including those from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan) who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of China's computer industry and the development of computer science in China.
The award is highly selective. Each year, the CCF Awards Committee selects only one or two recipients (individuals or organizations) worldwide. The evaluation process is managed by the CCF Overseas Outstanding Contribution Award Evaluation Subcommittee. Recipients are typically internationally renowned scientists, engineers, or academic leaders who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to supporting China's computing ecosystem.
