Abstract
卡罗尔·梅尔（Carol Maier）在对作家 / 译者双重身份的研究中提出了“译者 / 理论家”（translator/Theorôs）的观点。她认为身兼译者的作家是“一个在旅行、观察、沉思中学习、了解他人及其习俗的人，但这样的作家同时也冒着被疏远、拒绝和嘲笑的风险”②。借鉴吉迪恩·图里（Gideon Toury）的观点，即翻译总是预示着某种可能性，梅尔提出问题：译者可能是什么或可能像什么。③ 当研究鲁迅的翻译时，我们可以问一个相关的问题：译者鲁迅与作者鲁迅不同吗？翻译作为不同于创作的创造模式，是否激发了鲁迅其他的想象力和潜能？
