Abstract

卡罗尔·梅尔(Carol Maier)在对作家 / 译者双重身份的研究中提出了“译者 / 理论家”(translator/Theorôs)的观点。她认为身兼译者的作家是“一个在旅行、观察、沉思中学习、了解他人及其习俗的人,但这样的作家同时也冒着被疏远、拒绝和嘲笑的风险”②。借鉴吉迪恩·图里(Gideon Toury)的观点,即翻译总是预示着某种可能性,梅尔提出问题:译者可能是什么或可能像什么。③ 当研究鲁迅的翻译时,我们可以问一个相关的问题:译者鲁迅与作者鲁迅不同吗?翻译作为不同于创作的创造模式,是否激发了鲁迅其他的想象力和潜能?
