Abstract
We describe the dissemination of Mycobacterium marimum infection from the right middle finger to the whole extremity and two legs, with the involvement of tendons and joints, in a patient who was treated with a steroid when Mycobacterium marinum infection was not suspected. The patient was successfully treated with a combined surgical and medical approach.
