Abstract
The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) was founded in 1991 by the Hong Kong Government with a mission of establishing a new research university to serve the high-technology industries in Hong Kong. Polymer research is an active program at HKUST. Polymer research at HKUST concerns both fundamental phenomena of academic interest and practical problems of technological implications and covers many aspects of macromolecular science and engineering, including synthesis, characterization, properties, morphologies, processing, and applications. A few examples of the research programs are provided.
