Abstract

A study on the properties of transfer matrices and their eigenvalues for constrained systems was performed. For this purpose the algebraic and combinatorial properties of the transfer matrix of the two-dimensional (1, ∞) Runlength limited constraints were discussed. The results for these constrained systems were provided using various theorems.
