Abstract

Uncertainties in hydrologic modeling are the primary factors affecting the reliability of hydraulic structures. Among various hydrologic rainfall-runoff models for engineering applications, conceptual instantaneous unit hydrograph (IUH) models are frequently applied for computing design discharge hydrograph for designing hydraulic structures or evaluating their performances. In this paper, Nash's IUH model is selected for demonstrating the methodological framework to analyze its uncertainty.
