N2 - Two oleanane-type oligoglycosides, cernuosides A (1) and B (2), were isolated from the roots of Pulsatilla cernua (Ranunculaceae). Structure elucidation was accomplished by 1D and 2D NMR (DQF-COSY, TOCSY, HMQC, HMBC, and ROESY) methods, FABMS, and hydrolysis. Both compounds showed moderate activity against sucrase.
