Abstract

Correction to: Nature Microbiologyhttps://doi.org/10.1038/s41564-025-01940-w, published online 19 February 2025. In the version of this article initially published, the image shown in Extended Data Fig. 5a, ARF4–/– / Mock, was an accidental duplicate from Fig. 3d and has been updated. The panels shown in Fig. 6j, k and Extended Data Fig. 5a were earlier, incorrect versions and have now been updated. Source Data files for Figs. 3, 6 (Statistical Source Data), Extended Data Fig. 5 (Blots) were incorrect files, and Source Data for Supplementary Fig. 3 (Blots) were missing.
