Abstract

For comparative study on the modification effect of the admixtures as silica fume, polypropylene fiber and polypropylene superfine powder to concrete, the physical mechanics, anti-cracking, impermeability, frost resistance and anti-wear experiments of C30 high-performance concrete were carried out in four groups with different mix proportions (the standard concrete, the joined silica fume concrete, the joined polypropylene fiber concrete and the joined superfine powder of polypropylene fiber concrete), and the effects of different admixtures on the durability of high performance hydraulic concrete were analyzed. The results show that the polypropylene superfine powder prepared by rapid expansion of supercritical solution, a new type polymer admixture of concrete, has the merits of the polymer material and the active mineral joined material, and that it can improve the mechanics characteristic of concrete comprehensively, particularly in terms of effectively improving the durability performance of anti-cracking, impermeability and frost resistance on concrete.
