Abstract
In the wireless network, the dependency of new and hand-off calls makes searching for high performance call admission control policies challenging. Many studies on optimal control have not taken the correct dependency into consideration. As a result, the reported gains in those studies can not be confirmed in a real network. This paper presents a modified Linear Programming approach to find better call admission control policies. The performance of the found policies are also analyzed and compared in the paper.
