Abstract
We study infinite-time exact observability of Volterra systems in Hilbert spaces. Sufficient conditions are established under which infinite-time exact observability of a Volterra system follows from that of the corresponding Cauchy system without convolution term. This is done by combining the composition operator method with a result about bounded below composition operators on the Hardy space.
