Research output: Book/ReportBookpeer-review

Abstract

This book is suitable for junior undergraduate students to develop Monte Carlo skills in polymer science. The impact of polymers on society is listed in the first chapter. We discuss the physical properties of polymers in Chapters 2 and 3. We review the C++ language in chapter 4 to assist readers who do not have any computational background. In chapter 5, we illustrate the Monte Carlo algorithm of the glass transition of polymers where the main source code is given. We proceed to simulate the mechanical properties of polymers in chapter 6, which allows readers to understand polymer physics deeper.
