Investigation of Continuous Tunable Load-Modulated MIMO Transmitters

Research output: Chapter in Book/Conference Proceeding/ReportConference Paper published in a bookpeer-review

Abstract

A method for implementing continuous tunable load-modulated multiple-input multiple-output (LM-MIMO) transmitters is proposed and investigated. A T-type configuration for the loading network is considered for the load modulator (LM) design, in which a closed-form expression for the load values is also derived for arbitrary constellations. The lumped element topology of a continuous tunable LM is also provided. Simulation results show that the proposed continuous tunable LM is able to handle phase modulation on a hypersphere (PMH).
