Abstract

Recent software development effort has taken the position to introduce the architecture-based software development. Within this approach Software architecture is used throughout the entire software development lifecycle. In this paper we apply the approach to an online e-learning system using the SDL specification language. SDL has been widely used in the telecommunication industry, Our goal is to take SDL to other application areas and to investigate the architecture-based software development using a structural specification language such as SDL.
